How does astrology work?
Your birth chart is like your life’s fingerprint. The planets were in a unique place at the precise time you were born. The aspects, or positions, between the planets, in particular houses, form a road map for your life. Here’s how one of my clients understood this relationship: “I felt like the geometry of the planets high in the universe at the time of my birth was indeed unique to me. I imagined a line from each one in space to the point of where I was for the first time in the physical realm. That web is unique to me.” -Monica

What can I expect in an astrology chart reading session?
First, you do not need to have any knowledge of astrology –AT ALL- to understand and benefit from your astrology chart reading. As the astrologer, I will lead you through your chart, interpreting the “language of the stars” for you! We’ll discuss the strengths, talents, opportunities and challenges you were born to experience.

How can I benefit from an astrology chart reading?
A chart reading can provide insight, clarity and direction and help make sense of things in your life that may have felt “random” and hard. It can also offer support for you to celebrate your core values and unique assets, and to bring them into the life you wish to create.

How do I book a chart reading session?
Simply complete and return the Contact Form found in the "Connect" section of this website.  Once I receive your form, we will choose a mutually convenient time for your reading. You may also email me at debra.innerlightastrology@gmail.com.  Keep in mind that a lead time of at least a week is necessary in order for me to prepare a full chart reading.

What if I can’t wait a week (or longer) and need immediate answers or insights to a pressing issue?
Cosmic Crossroads Conversations is a premium service, designed to provide you with a time-sensitive consultation, within 72 hours of our connecting. In this type of reading, the focus is specific to a question or concern and will not include a reading of your full chart.

When and how do I pay for a session?
Payment for a session is required when you schedule and is non-refundable. Payments accepted by check, credit card (via Square), using Google Pay, Cash App Pay or Afterpay. Contact me for a mailing address if paying by check.

How are chart reading sessions conducted?
Sessions are conducted remotely and can be done from anywhere, as we will meet on Zoom. I will send you a Zoom invitation the day before your reading.

What information do I need to provide in order to have an accurate chart reading?  
In order for your chart reading to be accurate, I will need to know three things – your birth date, the exact location where you were born, and the exact time at which you were born. The birth time is critical and is typically found on the long form of your birth certificate, generally available from the Town Clerk’s office in the town where you were born. Sometimes this is not the case, and we may be able to use a birth time that a family member can verify – IF they are confident that it’s correct.

How do I prepare for my chart reading session?*
Please refer to the Resources section of this website for information on scheduling and payment, as well as a list of astrology terms that I will be using to discuss your chart. There are also instructions on how to download a copy of your natal chart (or the chart for whomever the reading is for) to have for reference during our session.
*You may ask me when scheduling your reading to focus on particular life issues as part of the reading, or you may prefer to have a more general reading of your chart.

 Is astrology able to predict my future?
Astrology is about destiny AND free will. You will always have choices to make, no matter what is happening in the stars. Knowing the energies of the planetary influences will give you insight into those choices.

 What if I need to reschedule my session?
Life happens, things change, and you may need to reschedule your appointment, which is perfectly understandable. It is also the case that the creation of your chart reading requires advanced preparation on my part. Therefore, if you need to reschedule, please contact me by email (debra.innerlightastrology@gmail.com) by no later than ten (10) days prior to the date of your session.

Are Astrology Chart Reading Sessions available as gifts?
